Abstract

Endometriosis is the proliferation of various tissues that resemble the uterine lining; these tissues develop inside lower abdominal reproductive organs, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, tissues that support the uterus, and other uterine surface regions. The lungs, brain, and skin are examples of non-pelvic tissues where spreadability was seen. However, endometrial-problem may also result in Ovarian Cancer and breast cancer if proper treatment of endometriosis in women is ignored. In conventional pharmaceutical therapies, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as androgens, aromatase inhibitors, selective progesterone receptor modulators, oral contraceptives, and gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists, are used.
