About the Journal

AIDASCO Reviews is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing high-quality reviews, original research and professional articles, opinions on different topics, presentations of projects, events or institutions, interviews, etc. While there are no formal frames on topics, the editorial board welcomes articles closely related to the mission and aims of AIDASCO, such as the involvement of young researchers in research activities and gender equality. AIDASCO Reviews also welcomes mentored articles written by students of all levels.

AIDASCO Reviews journal was established to serve as a promotion platform for students, young researchers and entrepreneurs, and established members of academia and industry.


Publishing model and Licensing

AIDASCO Reviews is an online, open-access journal. All content of the AIDASCO Reviews is freely available without charge to users and their corresponding institutions.

Articles published in AIDASCO Reviews are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

Publication Frequency

AIDASCO Reviews publishes two regular issues per year, typically released in June and December.

In addition to its regular issues, the journal may publish special or institutional issues on specific topics, projects, or collaborations, depending on current needs and opportunities.


Regular Issues

Regular issues represent the core publishing activity of AIDASCO Reviews. All articles accepted for publication in regular issues are published free of charge, the journal does not apply article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or any hidden costs.

All operational costs related to editing, publishing, and hosting are covered by AIDASCO, with the support of its sponsors, donors, and supporters, in line with the Association’s commitment to open access.


Special issues

In addition to regular issues, AIDASCO Reviews publishes special or institutional issues dedicated to specific scientific or educational topics, events, or collaborations.

Such issues are coordinated under the supervision of the AIDASCO Board and the Executive Co-Editors and may be organized in collaboration with external partners, including academic institutions, associations, professional entities, or companies that provide technical, organizational, or promotional support.

These collaborations expand the journal’s reach and impact while maintaining full editorial and ethical oversight by the AIDASCO Board.

Special issues are governed by specific agreements and may include dedicated Guest Editors, institutional sponsorship, coordination fees, or other tailored arrangements, depending on the project’s scope, funding model, or organizational requirements.
All such activities are conducted transparently and under the scientific and ethical supervision of the AIDASCO Board, ensuring integrity and editorial independence.

Journal Management

AIDASCO Reviews is managed under the direct supervision and authority of the Board of the Association for the International Development of Academic and Scientific Collaboration (AIDASCO).

This governance ensures that all editorial and publishing activities remain transparent, ethical, and fully aligned with AIDASCO’s mission of advancing open science, education, and international collaboration.

Journal Scope

AIDASCO Reviews doesn’t have formal frames regarding the topic of the articles considered for publication, and the only criterion is quality. However, since AIDASCO is a non-political and non-religious organization, Editorial Team will not consider articles promoting or endorsing any political or religious direction. The editorial team fully respects the political and religious choices of all people reading these lines.

Topics may be scientific, professional, popular, personal opinions and views, interviews, critiques, comments on works, erratum, presentations of: events, institutions, study programs, companies, people, entrepreneurs, etc.

Article submission and peer review

All articles to be offered for publication in AIDASCO Reviews must be submitted using the Open Journal Publishing (OJS) system, which is available at https://publishing.aidasco.org/journals/index.php/aire .

Manuscripts submitted through email will not be considered for publication in AIDASCO Reviews. Submission of articles through a dedicated publishing platform, such as the OJS, ensures the highest quality and transparency of publishing and review workflow.

All articles submitted to AIDASCO Reviews are subjected to peer review. Depending on the reviewers' decisions, the assigned editor decides whether the article will be:

    • rejected for publication
    • returned for minor or major revision,
    • accepted, with or without revisions

Publication fees

We are using this opportunity to once again emphasize that AIDASCO Reviews does not charge any article processing, submission, or publication fees for manuscripts published in its regular issues. Publication in regular issues is completely free of charge for all authors.

All operational and maintenance costs, including editorial work, website hosting, and digital archiving, are fully covered by AIDASCO, with the support of its sponsors, donors, and supporters, in line with the Association’s mission to promote open and equitable access to scientific publishing.

For special or institutional issues, publication may be subject to specific agreements, depending on the scope, size, and organizational requirements of the project.
Such issues may involve institutional or external partners who coordinate or sponsor the publishing process.

All such collaborations are carried out under the scientific and ethical oversight of the AIDASCO Board, ensuring full transparency, integrity, and editorial independence.
