Upcoming Special Issue: CONNECT 2025 - Building the Knowledge Society Across Borders
AIDASCO Reviews is preparing a Special Issue dedicated to the CONNECT 2025 Conference, that was held from August 25–29, 2025, at the Grand Hotel Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CONNECT 2025 brought together students, early-career researchers, and academics from the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia) and connects them with collaborators from Germany, Turkey and Hungary. The event promotes dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge exchange in support of the European Research Area (ERA) and the democratization of knowledge.
This special issue will feature selected contributions, reflections, and outcomes from CONNECT 2025 - highlighting how students and young researchers act as key drivers of integration, open science, and regional collaboration.
With its focus on the ERA Policy Agenda, CONNECT 2025 explores themes such as:
- Open Science, research careers, and gender equality,
- The twin green and digital transition and the role of AI,
- Widening participation, Twinning, and COST programs as bridges of excellence between regions.
Through this collaboration-focused format, impulse talks, world café discussions, and interactive sessions, CONNECT 2025 fosters lasting relationships among participants and institutions.
The upcoming AIDASCO Reviews Special Issue will capture this spirit of cooperation and knowledge in motion, showcasing how students, early-career researchers, and educators work together to build a stronger, more inclusive European Research Area.
Stay tuned for more information on submission opportunities and participation details on the AIDASCO Reviews website.
